Manifestation, Momentum, Creation
Three things that are necessary to move you forward in anything you set your sights on.
You can’t act on what you can’t dream up first. A lot of us want things. We say we want them. We talk about “doing the things” a lot.
“I want to make more money”
“I want to lose weight”
“I want to start my own business”
These “wants” are just surface level though. A want will not manifest into reality without belief. Manifestation requires us to get clear on and own our self limiting beliefs around our wants. If your wants are not manifesting, chances are you have some deep and hidden beliefs about your ability or worthiness around getting what you want.
Maybe you want to make more money, but you have a belief that rich people are bad or that you can’t make more money.
You might want to lose a few pounds but maybe you have a belief that you lack the ability to self regulate, or a belief that you need to hide yourself.
You might want to start your own business, but maybe you have a belief that you are not smart enough, good enough, brave enough. Maybe you are attached to your parent’s expectations that you use your university degree and it’s selfish to stray from that path.
Whatever you focus on, your doubts or your dream….you will manifest.
“I trust that my powerful intentions, combined with my faith are enough to make my vision a reality” – Gabby Bernstein
Manifestation requires that you BELIEVE that your goal is possible. These hidden belief systems keep you from manifesting your dreams. If we recognize our beliefs, we can clear them. Once we clear them, it’s time to get to work.
You’ve cleared the way. You have a goal, it’s all very exciting now. NOW is the right time to act because momentum will fade. You will get busy, you will let doubt and resistance creep in. Knowing now that doubt and resistance will creep in, slowing your speed and eventually stopping you from making your goals happen, you must capitalize on the power of momentum.
“You should never leave the site of a goal or an idea without figuring some way to apply it immediately. That gives you power. That’s how you build momentum.” – Tony Robbins
Momentum comes from action. It comes from support. So get other people around you excited about your goal too. Tell people. Get a coach. Get a team, an assistant, hire someone who can help you. My work with coaches has been pivotal in hyping up the momentum so I keep moving forward.
Things WILL move forward if you ride the momentum high. Keep……on…….going….don’t stop.
My favourite thing in the whole wide world. Making things is the ultimate achievement. Creation is your connection to source. By source I mean GOD energy. Before you go running away from dogmatic talk, you don’t have to believe in a GOD. This is not religion (it can be), this your connection to something bigger and brighter than you.
If you have something within you, something that has entered your psyche, an idea, a dream, a project….it is your duty to bring it life. If you want to live in aliveness that is.
“A creative life is an amplified life. It’s a bigger life, a happier life, an expanded life, and a hell of a lot more interesting life. Living in this manner—continually and stubbornly bringing forth the jewels that are hidden within you—is a fine art, in and of itself.”
― Elizabeth Gilbert, Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear
We are all creative. Some of us love numbers, buildings, style, colour, words. Some of us love PEOPLE and are looking for creative ways to SERVE. Tapping into your unique gifts and creativity will save you from monotony, boredom and status quo living.
You are not boring. You are not the status quo. The status quo is white wonder bread. You are spelt, jalapeno cheese bread with fancy nuts and seeds sprinkled on top. Someone convinced you, you were white bread. And that is so sad because white wonder bread isn’t even REAL bread…..it doesn’t even die or go bad. It’s plastic. Are you PLASTIC?
So get in the brain kitchen and start baking yourself some magic.
Focusing on these three things; manifestation, momentum and the excitement of creation will get ANY idea off the ground. Give all of your energy to these three things. When we set a goal, a plethora of other things will pop up in our heads that will try and take us down
Know that they will show up, and the only way around and through them….is to focus on the things that drive you forward. It’s worked for me time and time again. It’s gotten me through the struggle of project creation and goal setting in all areas of my life. The secret is in staying focused on what’s POSSIBLE. Not the reasons why not.
Got a goal? I can help catapult you to the finish line.
Dream big my friends.
With grace and grit,
